Some of my personal pictures of this (2007) Victoria Day Weekend. I hope you find what you are
looking for. These are provoded more to document the week-end than provide art.
Please note that some of the content is of adult nature. If you are sensitive, please
use your right to not view.
The Bikini shots, for the most part, are quite terrible. I had to do the paparazzi
pose and hold the camera high to shoot blind. I have only included them for fear of
my life, oh well.
Mud Slinging and More Mud Slinging shots are pretty much what you would expect.
The MotoCross shots were taken from the far side of the mud pit. They are as they were,
strait out of camera. Impressive what a stock 150mm lens without IS can do.
Nathan Down pulled up beside our truck and noticed the camera. He asked if I could take some
publicity shots for him. It was done. Some special guests appeared on stage. I hope these worked out for him.
Well, EverythingElse, is everything else. These are shots taken while walking around
the campsite. Sadly, I should have taken more of those. There's next year...
All shots were taken with an Olympus E-500 with stock 14-45 mm and 40-150 mm lenses
along with an 8mm ED full frame fish eye. Additional storage was provided by my MediaGear
20g storage device. Throw in a couple of ND filters and a Circular Polarizer. Most of the
pictures have not been post-processed with the exception of Adobe Light Room resizing and
generating the picture galleries. The 4 day weekend resulted in over 1800 images with only
about 200 discarded.
